I think I can safely define that "equality" is the prospect of providing every human being with fair treatment, opportunity, and rights. Under equality, every human being will be protected from discrimination on the basis of race and ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, employment, religion or belief, disability, social position and all other related factors. In an equal world, everyone is treated fairly relative to their circumstances, and although this does not neccessarily mean that every person is treated in the same way, it does mean that we should all learn to recognise and accept our differences, and emphasize with these differences to achieve an understanding, equal world.
